The city of Granada is located in the south of the Iberian Peninsula,
at the foot of the Sierra Nevada chain of mountains, with the highest
peaks of the peninsula, and around 400 km distance from the Spanish
capital, Madrid.
Granada can be reached by plane from Madrid and
Barcelona, or from the Malaga airport (150 km far away from Granada) by
bus. Trains and buses from Madrid also offer a relatively convenient
connection. There are buses from Malaga to Granada each hour. The time
table for the buses from Malaga and Madrid are given below.
From Malaga and Madrid airports there are permanent bus services to the
corresponding bus and train stations, with travel time around 30 to 45
minutes. The flight to Granada from Madrid or Barcelona can be arranged in
connection with your international flight. If byplane, the taxi
from the airport to the hotel will cost around 2500 pts.

Our recommendation is to stay at Hotel Saray.
This is a good hotel very close to the Institute and to the city
center that offers a special price to our guests.
This special price is about 9500 ptas, or 58 Euro (not sure if taxes
are included). This price is cheaper than any 3 stars hotel in town.
