I have been invited several times by amateur astronomers and the University of Cartagena (where I was born and grew up). Unfortunately, I only have pictures from this first time in 1998. The Asociación Astronómica de Cartagena (ASAC) is doing a great job in popularizing astronomy with periodic activities involving not only the members of the association but the general public. Among them, the yearly “Jornadas de Astronomía” are remarkable. They are running them for more than ten years.
