Rubén, Rosa, Ginés, Enrique, and Luis continue the group numerous research activities, amongst which analyzing J-PAS data and developing new big-data intensive tools. We have daily meetings (using a variety of teleconference tools).

We are discussing Ginés Ph.D. work; Ginés has developed a machine learning tool to retrieve emission lines from J-PAS intermediate band photometry, based on training from CALIFA, MaNGA, and SDSS spectroscopy. A draft paper has already been presented and discussed in a J-PAS wide teleconference including more than 40 collaborators from Spain and Brasil.

Further, three or four times a week we have teleconferences within different J-PAS working groups, where we keep developing the future of the survey. Rubén is also busily participating in teleconferences of the WEAVE collaboration, and Luis keeps developing his research skill towards his PhD.
